A.J. Benjamin is a writer and actor who grew up with horses. A.J. writes for film, theatre, and music, and has served community organizations like Lunchbox Theatre, Opera Calgary, and Making Treaty 7. As an actor A.J. has worked on several local large- and small-scale productions. His initial interest in this research was to explore horse knowledge of the past, including relationships, tack, and trails.
